How to Install Dungeondraft Assets
Share
Dungeondraft by Megasploot is primarily used to create top-down battle maps. Like Wonderdraft, Dungeondraft excels at integrating custom assets with its powerful design tools to create unique maps for any small-scale scene. Importing custom assets is easy, especially when each set is offered as a single dungeondraft.pack file. Because this is the only format for Dungeondraft assets that I offer, I'll be focusing on importing dungeondraft.pack files in this guide.
Importing Dungeondraft Assets - Step-by-Step Guide
-
Create an assets folder.
- The name can be anything you wish! I named mine "Dungeondraft Assets".
- You can place this newly created folder anywhere on your PC except "Program Files".
- This is due to potential crashing issues.
- I recommend placing this folder somewhere you can easily find in the future.
- I placed mine in my "Documents" folder.
- Place your dungeondraft.pack files in your new assets folder.
-
Enable the assets in Dungeondraft.
- Open Dungeondraft.
- Click "Assets" from the top horizontal menu.
- In the pop-up window, click "Browse" to find and select your custom assets folder.
- Select the asset packs you wish to enable, then "Accept".
You can place as many dungeondraft.pack files in your custom assets folder without issue. However, I recommend enabling only the assets you wish to use for the map you plan to open to minimize the chance of crashes and lag.
Dungeondraft is available with a one-time purchase from dungeondraft.net.
